Also on this tour, your guide will provide ample time for you to grab a ticket ($25 per person) and take a stroll on the newly completed Grand Canyon Skywalk. This all glass and steel bridge with see-through bottom was constructed out over the canyon wall 4000 feet above the canyon floor.

The final engineering tests on the bridge rated it to hold over 400 percent, enabling it to withstand the weight of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes (more than 71 million pounds), sustain winds in excess of 100mph from 8 different directions, and and 8.0 magnitude earthquake within 50 miles.
