Just one step into the new Chippendales
Theater at the Rio Hotel Casino and guests are urged to take a walk on the
wild side. An exotic journey of men, it's where
women scream and men take it off - and everyone
is happy.
Leaving their men at home and promised "complete
satisfaction," the mostly female audience
watches as a countdown begins. The end of the
countdown marks the transition from a Las Vegas
theater into a women's playground, where fantasies
come to life in the form of "Chippendales
The Show."
From firemen and construction workers to cowboys
and military men, "Chippendales The Show"
feeds women's fantasies of men in uniform. But
the dancers don't stay in uniform for very long,
as hard hats disappear and hard bodies abound,
satisfying the women's curiosity of boxers or
briefs.
The journey takes the audience to the hip-hop
streets of New York and the line dancing saloons
of the wild, wild West, making sensual stops in
the jungle, in a nightclub and at a game show.
Some lucky women get to join the men on stage
as contestants of "Chipp Date." The
women are asked intimate questions, trying to
win a mythical date with a Chippendale contestant.
But all the women are winners and are able to
live out their most sensual fantasies as a few
dancers join them to tastefully tease and tantalize
them.
The entertainers continue to strut their stuff
on stage while removing their clothing playfully,
piece by piece, choreographed to such hits as
"Hero" by Enrique Iglesias and "Save
a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" by Big & Rich.
Chippendale Bryan Cheatham gives the audience
a little bit more as he lends his vocals and gymnastic
talents to scenes throughout the show. Singing
everything from the sensual "Let's Get in
On" by Marvin Gaye to "When Doves Cry"
by Prince, Cheatham gets the audience worked up
for the next sexy scenario.
The entertainment complex, designed specifically
with women in mind, houses the new 400-seat intimate
Chippendales Theater, Flirt cocktail lounge, a
retail boutique with gifts varying from lingerie
to bachelorette party fare and a ladies room,
complete with a gossip pit. Billed as the ultimate
girls night out, "Chippendales The Show,"
is just that - a place for fun, friends and flesh.
