Rio Secco Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones. Rolling across 240 acres of rugged desert and seated over 800 feet above Las Vegas the course offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley and the surrounding desert and mountains. Players are challenged as the course winds its through the steep canyons and arroyos and tops out on high plateaus. The Butch Harmon School of Golf is located at Rio Secco and offers one to three day golf schools with Butch and his staff as well as individual Private instruction. Harmon`s star pupil, Tiger Woods currently holds the Rio Secco course record of 64. Rio Secco was voted among the Top Ten New Courses by Golf Digest, Top Ten New Courses You Can Play by Golf Magazine.

Rio Secco Golf Club was designed and built in 1997 by golf course architect Rees Jones. When Rio Secco opened in 1997 Golf Digest and Golf Magazine voted it among the top ten new courses. Rio Secco was named the 6th best course in Nevada in the 2001 issue of Golf Digest, and voted the # 1 public access course in Nevada by the Las Vegas PGA along with many other awards.

Rio Secco lays at the foothills of the Black Mountain Range about 15 minutes southeast of the Las Vegas Strip. Rio Secco can play to over 7,400 yards and very difficult, but also offers four teeing grounds to allow golfers of any skill level a memorable golf experience.

Rio Secco features 6 holes through steep canyons, 6 holes on a plateau overlooking the city and 6 holes in a broad desert wash.

Booking Policy:
You will be contacted within 48 hours of booking to confirm your actual tee time. No charges will be placed on your charge card until seven (7) days prior to play date, at which time the full rate will apply for each person playing. Following the charges to your card, a voucher to present to the pro shop, and a driving map to the golf course you selected, will be sent via email. Appropriate golf attire required. The golf course requires soft spikes only, collared shirts, and slacks, cuffed or hemmed shorts. No swimwear or denim allowed.

To insure your specific tee time is held, you must check in at the pro shop a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your selected time.

Note: Courses allow a maximum of 4 persons per group only! Single player requests cannot be confirmed until 7-days prior to the requested play date.
